Our Pricing
Since we design our trips as complete experiences, the price in your proposal covers the entire journey.
Think of our itineraries as a carefully crafted work of art, made up of many details, but without listing the cost of every single part.
This way of working lets us offer special perks and deals that only come from being travel curators. Because we negotiate private contracts and secure better rates, we don’t provide a detailed cost breakdown. That’s why we ask for a budget idea before we start planning. But don’t worry, we’re always happy to explain how our pricing works.

“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”
— Warren Buffett
Each Legendary Arctic trip includes four main cost parts:
-
Accommodation, activities, meals, and transport
-
Professional travel consultancy
-
Finding availability and securing bookings
-
Managing your journey with support before and during your trip

The Cost of Accommodation, Activities, Meals, and Transport
At Legendary Arctic, we want every trip to feel special and effortless. That’s why we work with a handpicked group of local partners across the Arctic, whom we trust and know well. Before we suggest any places to stay or things to do, our team has tried the experiences ourselves, gotten to know the hosts, checked references, and made sure everything meets our standards—including certifications and sustainability efforts.
We buy from our partners at net rates and sell to our clients at market rates. Prices and commissions can vary depending on the partner, season, availability, and when you book. We also team up with our partners to create unique experiences, so our guests get access to perks and benefits you won’t find anywhere else.

Professional Travel Consultancy
Like a composer arranges a unique symphony, a travel consultancy designs personalised trips tailored to each client’s desires and needs, we listen carefully to what our travellers want and use our expertise, connections, and experience to create journeys rich with fresh ideas and exclusive opportunities.
Exceptional travel consultancy requires harmony and precision. It can take days or even months to discover hidden gems and authentic experiences beyond the usual tourist paths. Our dedicated team coordinates every detail from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable trip. What sets us apart is our ability to craft unique travel experiences that respect the planet and promote responsible travel practices.
This level of care demands investment—but the value and memories it creates are genuinely worth it.
Sourcing Availability and Securing Bookings
We work with small, independent activity providers, guide companies, and local experts, which means bookings aren’t always instant or available online. When we arrange experiences that aren’t part of a standard menu, it takes both phone calls and emails to get everything sorted.
While technology plays a significant role in our work, the most time-consuming part of planning your trip is actually reaching out and confirming bookings. That time and effort are valuable, which is why we charge a trip-design fee before we start this process.

Trip-Design Fee and Payment Plan
When you get in touch with us, we’ll ask you to fill out a short online profile to learn about your interests and what you’re looking for. From there, we start putting together a custom trip that matches your needs and dreams. If your trip is a bit more complex, we’re happy to set up a video call to chat through the details.
To cover the time and expertise involved, we charge a trip-design fee when you agree to work with us. This fee is non-refundable but will be credited toward your final trip cost:
-
The trip-design fee is NOK 3,500 for trips under 7 days
-
NOK 6,000 for trips 7 days or longer
-
NOK 9,000 for groups of more than eight people or last-minute bookings made less than 45 days before arrival.
Once we receive your Trip-Design Fee, we get to work securing availability and the best prices for your journey. We’ll then share your proposed itinerary so you can review it and share your feedback. When the final itinerary is approved, we’ll request a 25% deposit of the total trip cost to confirm all bookings. From there, we’ll finalise every detail and provide you with a complete digital itinerary. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your adventure begins.

Journey Management: Support Before and During Your Trip
We’re with you every step of the way—from planning your trip to making sure everything goes smoothly during your stay. Before you arrive, we’ll keep you updated on local events, assist with restaurant bookings, and suggest any last-minute extras. We double-check every detail so you can relax and enjoy.
While you travel, you can easily reach us anytime if you need help. If plans change—due to weather or other reasons—we’ll proactively get in touch to keep you informed and assist with alternatives.
Booking with Legendary Arctic means you have a dedicated team committed to supporting you, making your journey inspiring, seamless, and meaningful for you and your loved ones.
